Engineer. Contractor. Adviser.
Steve Horrigan started on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 2000 and has spent the years since on the delivery side of railways.
BackgroundSetting out, possessions and handback on High Speed 1 and the DLR, then twelve years as Managing Director of a rail and civils contractor, taking it from start-up to Network Rail Principal Contractor.
NowMost of his time goes on helping owner-run contractors grow: structure and numbers around the business, what to bid and how to price it, and opening doors. Alongside that, interface management on Rail Baltica and engineering advice on UK Network Rail works.
Why it worksHe knows how the job actually gets delivered, who ends up liable when it doesn't, and what a site team will follow at three in the morning.
Working with STHSTH is Steve. You deal with him directly, start to finish: retained, day rate or fixed fee. Based in Kent; working across the UK and Europe.
